Turning the Storythings story towards the client
The problem
Storythings knew what made the business distinctive, but its website focused too heavily on who they were and what they created. Prospective clients had to work harder to understand how Storythings could help with the specific challenges they were facing.
The delivery
I worked with the team to shift the narrative towards the client, reframing the messaging around the problems they solve: making complex ideas easier to understand, helping brands stand out in crowded categories and creating content audiences actively choose to spend time with.
I then rewrote the core website pages and developed clearer sector-specific messaging so different audiences could quickly recognise their own needs.
The outcome
The new website feels more focused, commercially relevant and client-centred, while still retaining the intelligence and personality of the Storythings brand.
“We came to Emma because we knew our website wasn’t telling our story as clearly as it should. We understood what made Storythings different but translating that into messaging that would resonate with prospective clients proved far harder than we expected.
Emma quickly got under the skin of the business, challenging our assumptions, asking smart questions and helping us see our proposition through the eyes of the people we are trying to reach. Rather than simply rewriting copy, she helped us reframe the entire narrative around the problems our clients are trying to solve and the role Storythings plays in helping them solve them.
The result is a website that feels far more focused, commercially relevant and client centric. It captures what we do, why it matters and the value we create in a way that we simply hadn’t been able to articulate ourselves.
Emma combines strategic thinking with exceptional storytelling and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I’d happily recommend her to any business struggling to explain a complex proposition clearly and convincingly.”
