Meet the founder

A woman with long, wavy hair, wearing earrings, looking at the camera against a background with red and beige colors.

Once upon a time, there was a girl fascinated by stories.

The stories she loved were about people. What made them tick. What made them believe. Why some ideas spread while others disappeared without a trace.

That fascination eventually led her into marketing, where she spent the next 20 years helping some of the UK's best-known brands tell their stories. From PHD to Channel 4, Emma worked with businesses of every shape and size, helping them explain who they were, what they stood for and why people should care.

Along the way, she noticed that most successful businesses weren't always the biggest, or even the best-funded; they were the clearest. They knew exactly what made them different and could explain it in a way that people instantly understood.

Others had brilliant products, talented teams and ambitious founders, but struggled to tell their story. Their expertise lived in their heads rather than their marketing.

Emma became slightly obsessed with solving that problem.

So she founded StoryOne.

Today, she helps founders and leadership teams uncover the story at the heart of their business, turn complex expertise into compelling narratives and create content that earns attention for all the right reasons.

Because every great business deserves a great story and we can help them create story one.
